In order to participate in the Ask A Library statewide service, and to use the InstantService software, the Smathers Libraries is asked to contribute six hours to the state reference services.  Here is the current hours we have agreed to contribute:

Collaborative Desk (public libraries and colleges)

Monday 11 am - noon

Wednesday 2-3 pm

Thursday 3-4 pm

Clientele: public library users, school children, college students, citizens of Florida

Academic Desk (community college and university reference desk)

Monday 2-3 pm

Tuesday 11 am - noon, 1-2 pm

Friday 10 - 11 am

Clientele: community college and university students, faculty, staff
